Rustan’s unveiled the newly renovated Montblanc boutique at Rustan’s Makati to their loyal patrons and friends. The space has been fitted with new handsome details and dynamic lines to capture the essence of the hundred-year-old German company. The now 110-square meter space will give customers a bigger selection of choices. A section dedicated to timepieces will accompany the brand’s premium leather goods and iconic writing instruments.
“Rustan’s is constantly planning improvements for our stores, to make them even stronger luxury brand destinations,” shared Vice President for Store Planning and Expansions Michael Huang. The young entrepreneur says that Montblanc in Rustan’s Makati is the first concept boutique of the brand in the entirety of Southeast Asia. He continued, “We are proud to be partners in realizing its new global vision. In the new immersive environment, clients can more fully enjoy the Montblanc experience, which honors contemporary design and the traditions of craftsmanship.”
Last month’s launch was well attended. President of Montblanc Southeast Asia Matthiew Dupont was present for the opening. He and the company celebrate a long-standing relationship with luxury retailer Rustan’s. Montblanc has also begun a partnership with UNICEF, “aiming to improve learning conditions for over 5 million children around the world by providing quality learning materials and better teaching.” The launch of the new Montblanc for UNICEF Collection (sold from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018) will benefit their cause, donating 3% of the proceeds to support literacy projects. The company has promised a minimum amount of $1.5 million dollars guaranteed.
Included in the collection are Montblanc core favorites such as the classic Meisterstuck collection. Limited edition pieces likes the Great Character Miles Davis collection and the Writer’s Edition William Shakespeare collection will also be available at the Rustan’s Makati boutique and other Montblanc stores nationwide.
