They also launched other brands such as Italianni’s, Denny’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Texas Roadhouse, Randy’s Donuts, and Hard Rock Café, as well as Asian concepts like Watami, Modern Shang, Bulgogi Brothers, and Fish & Co., among others. Internationally-lauded Morton’s The Steakhouse serves top-quality steaks and seafood. Headquartered in Chicago, Morton’s has over 60 locations globally. It was founded in Chicago in 1978 by Arnold J. Morton and Klaus Fritsch. It is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Landry’s. Landry’s, Inc., owned by Tilman J. Fertitta, is a multinational, diversified restaurant, hospitality, gaming and entertainment company based in Houston, Texas. The company operates more than 600 high-end and casual dining establishments around the world.

The star of the menu is the steak. The 200-seater restaurant serves only the finest USDA-certified Prime Steaks, a grading achieved by less than two percent of the beef in America. This is the highest quality of beef, abundant in marbling and bursting with flavor. The steaks are cut to Morton’s specifications with some cuts being aged for 23 to 28 days, imparting a unique flavor profile and making the steak awesomely tender. Morton’s offers several cuts such as the Dry-Aged Bone-In Strip, Signature Cut New York Strip, 36-ounce Tomahawk, and Filet Mignon (or tenderloin).

The Filet Mignon, a signature dish, can be paired with Maine Lobster Tail. Other popular dishes include bacon wrapped sea scallops, crab cakes, prawn cocktail, and bacon steak. One can enjoy any steak “Oscar Style” too, pairing your prime meat with Jumbo Lump Crab Meat with Asparagus and Béarnaise sauce. Delicacies of the sea are served at Morton’s like the decadent Maine Lobster Tail and Prime Ocean Platters which feature an assortment of seafood, best enjoyed chilled or baked.

Wine Pairing

Morton’s has a wine selection with 300 types to choose from, offering different varieties and vintages from all over the world. Their sommelier Nicolas Martinache can recommend a perfect wine to pair with meals, which one can enjoy by the glass or by the bottle.

A Refined And Classic Ambiance

The  Uptown East Gate location is sophisticated and elegant, reminiscent of a classic steakhouse ambiance with warm tones and subdued lighting.  It was designed around the concepts of Coal, Fire, and Heat. Gabion walls with lava rock, accenting oxblood colors, and multiple lighting fixtures come together at the Philippines’ first location of Morton’s The Steakhouse. The refined atmosphere is ideal for intimate meals, business meetings, and special celebrations. There are two private rooms that can accommodate six and 12 people.

Quality, consistency, and genuine hospitality are the pillars that make Morton’s The Steakhouse world-class.  It has been tried and tested for over four decades and delivers consistently. Morton’s The Steakhouse is truly a cut above the rest.

Morton’s The Steakhouse is located at Uptown East Gate, 11th Avenue corner 36th Street, BGC, Taguig City. Follow @mortonssteakhouseph on Instagram. Call (0917)1449415 for inquiries or reservations.
