The highly anticipated 96th Academy Awards night sparkled as Hollywood personalities appeared wearing head-turning outfits and jewels.

The 96th Academy Awards bore witness to the talents of hundreds of celebrities and creative crew in making phenomenal films worthy of recognition. Aside from this, the occasion became a site of allurement as the red carpet served as a showcase of impeccable elegance from Hollywood celebrities. A stunning variety of daring outfits or timeless creations from known fashion brands flooded the venue, further setting the stage for an unforgettable cinematic celebration.

The Oscars went live on Sunday, March 10, at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theater at Ovation Hollywood.

Da’vine Joy Randolph

The Holdovers actress Da’vine Joy Randolph debuted on the 96th Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday. She wore a pale blue custom Louis Vuitton gown with pom pom sleeves and a long train. Randolph won her first ever Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her film.

Emily Blunt

Oppenheimer actress Emily Blunt wore a glittery Schiaparelli gown and jewels from Tiffany and Co. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 96th Academy Awards and attended the event with her husband, actor John Krasinski.

America Ferrera

Barbie actress America Ferrera appeared in a metal mesh pink Atelier Versace gown at the Oscars. She did not win Best Actress that night, but her four minute monologue from the film will always be remembered. 

“You make pink powerful,” Donatella Versace said in an Instagram post, tagging Ferrera. “Congratulations on an inspirational journey, celebrating empowerment and womanhood.”

Margot Robbie

Barbie herself Margot Robbie showed up at the 96th Academy Awards wearing a black Versace creation with jewels from Fred Leighton. Fans speculated she wore the dress as a protest to her Oscars snub, according to a report by Page Six.

Catherine O’Hara

Schitt’s Creek star Catherine O’Hara presented an award at the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday. She put on a fancy full-length black gown and completed her look with jewelry from Rahaminov and Smiling Rocks

Cillian Murphy

Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy donned a tuxedo from Atelier Versace. A report from GQ revealed Versace said he looked exquisite in it and the tux represented the brand’s tailoring “at its best.” Murphy won the Best Actor award at the 96th Academy Awards.

John Krasinski

A Quiet Place actor and Blunt’s husband Krasinski appeared at the 96th Academy Awards in a dainty all-white Brioni ensemble. He accessorized with a brooch and a watch from Tiffany & Co., with his shoes from Christian Louboutin.

Robert Downey Jr.

Oppenheimer actor Robert Downey Jr. completed his awards season sweep with his Oscars win for Best Supporting Actor. He wore a dapper ensemble from Yves Saint Laurent and finished his look with Tiffany & Co.’s Amapola brooch in 18-karat yellow gold with  pavé diamonds and black silk.

Glen Powell

Anyone But You star Glen Powell showed off his Tom Ford ensemble at the red carpet. “This is Mr. Tom Ford’s solid velvet look,” the actor said. “[Tom Ford] He said don’t eat too much because velvet is thick and it doesn’t look good if you blow it. That’s a direct quote from Tom.”

Matthew McConaughey in Versace

Dallas Buyers Club actor Matthew McConaughey wore an Atelier Versace creation at the Oscars. He paired the look with a white shirt underneath his tux and a bowtie.
