Paris finds love. Long may it last!
Businesswoman, reality TV star (some say the very first of its kind), and heiress Paris Hilton wed venture capitalist Carter Reum. The location? An estate located in the Holmby Hills area of Bel-Air, once owned by the bride’s grandfather Barron Hilton.

In a wedding feature with Vogue, Hilton said she and Reum had been friends for over 15 years (the last 15 years of Hilton’s life have been…a lot), before reconnecting in 2019 during a Thanksgiving get-together with mutual friends.
After a February engagement (where Reum proposed on the beach with a Jean Dousset-designed ring), the couple married in November with acclaimed wedding and events planner Mindy Weiss on the helm (clients include Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Russell and Nina Westbrook, and the Kardashian family).
Weiss’ website reads: “No matter the celebration, Mindy prides herself on infusing her clients into the details so that no two events ever look and feel alike.” This was certainly true for the Reum-Hilton nuptials.
With Kim Petras singing Can’t Help Falling in Love, Hilton walked down the aisle (decorated with white roses by Mark’s Garden, an LA-based luxury floral and event design company) in custom Oscar de la Renta, described by the brand on Instagram as a “thread work pressed flower ballgown and veil, which was crafted and hand-embroidered by eight modistes over 1,400 hours.”
Crafted at de la Renta’s New York City atelier, the romantic ivory-pressed flowers flow from the neck, and the skirt was a technical feat: 20 layers of tulle were draped over a crinoline petticoat. Meanwhile, the groom wore Ermenegildo Zegna.
During the reception, Hilton was a quick-change artist: she had three dresses to wear. She first changed into an off-the-shoulder tulle dress with a corset top and full skirt by Galia Lahav, paired with a tiara and necklace, followed by another de la Renta piece, this time a hand-draped taffeta cocktail dress with 3D floral embroidery.
The final look was by Pamella Roland: a gown with sequins and pearls, and a sheer, embellished cape.
Demi Lovato treated the guests to a special performance of I Will Always Love You, and the happy couple’s first dance was to Bruno Mars’ Just The Way You Are. The cake was a five-tiered fondant and buttercream masterpiece by Joanie and Leigh’s Cakes.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Paris Hilton without some sort of reality-TV element, so for those who want more, Paris in Love is currently streaming on Peacock, NBC Universal’s streaming service.
“Paris Hilton, fashion icon, entrepreneur, and global DJ phenom prepares to add a new title to her collection…bride. Finding love with Carter Reum, a successful venture capitalist, has brought Paris into the next phase of her life,” says the show synopsis.
“However, Paris is about to discover the road to the altar has a few unexpected twists and turns along the way. With the help of her family and friends, the former “Simple Life” songstress hopes to find her brand of “happily ever after,” in an unforgettable fairy-tale, Paris in Love.”
