Italian Brand Names NCT’s Jeno As First Global Male Ambassador

To celebrate the announcement, the brand portrayed the K-pop star in a curated selection of Pre-Fall 23 looks.

Continuing the trend of partnerships between luxury brands and Korean celebrities, Ferragamo has announced its first global male ambassador, Lee Je-no, or more popularly known as just Jeno.

The K-pop star is a member of the boy group NCT and its sub-unit NCT Dream. He plays the roles of rapper, dancer, and singer. He began his career as a child commercial model before training and debuting as an idol under SM Entertainment.

According to Ferragamo’s Instagram post, the brand has been building ties with Jeno prior to its announcement. Earlier this year in February, the idol attended Ferragamo’s Milan Fashion Week runway show.

“Jeno Lee’s captivating personality and ability to connect with international young audiences, through his music, style and persona is exceptional. We’re driven by the same passion in our creativity and feel fortunate to have him join Ferragamo,” said Maximilian Davis, the brand’s creative director.

As for Jeno, the idol said, “It is such an honor to be a global ambassador for Ferragamo, a brand with an incredible heritage, craftsmanship, and style. I am very excited to create a synergy with the brand and looking forward to disclosing our future projects! Stay tuned on both of us!”

Pre-Fall 23 Collection

Accompanying the announcement, Ferragamo posted a series of photos with Jeno as the “protagonist.” The brand described the collection as a mix of “heat and sensuality.”

“The collection explores and harmonizes contrasts between beachfront and outerwear; between pristine fabrications and raw edges; between storied glamor and everyday ease.”

Some of the pieces include a check print sleeveless shirt, coordinating denim looks, technical jackets, a ribbed pullover, and several leather bags. He is also seen wearing the same matching gray set (featuring straight-leg trousers and a bomber jacket) that he wore to the Milan show.

Just last year, Jeno made history by being the first K-pop idol to open a New York Fashion Week runway show. The idol’s slender but powerful physique makes a perfect canvas for all sorts of clothing.
