Look Out For These Stellar Art Pieces at Leòn Gallery’s Mid-Year Auction

The much-awaited auction once again incites enthusiasm for its impressive selection of Philippine art

The rich history and culture of the country remain a familiar and fundamental inspiration for Filipino artists. From idyllic scenes in the barrio to elements in the modern-day Philippines, one can easily fall in love with the stunning and poignant works. Art collectors can own these pieces at León Gallery Spectacular Mid-Year Auction on June 20. Partnering with ANCX, the gallery sets to present a visual feast from this month’s selection of historical and contemporary Philippine art. Expect to bid pieces from masters and esteemed names in the art world like Anita Magsaysay-Ho, Ang Kiukok, and Betsy Westerndorp.

Worth P20 million, this magnificent work depicts the Biblical creation story. Adam and Eve are seemingly brought to life with the multihued cubist abstractions.
