Guerra’s experience includes serving as LVMH strategic advisor, Eataly executive chairman, and Luxottica Group CEO.
Incumbent CEO Patrizio Bertelli will receive the recommendation as chairman of the Prada board of directors.
He will replace Paolo Zannoni, who will be recommended as the board’s executive deputy chairman and chairman of Prada Holding.
In turn, co-CEO Miuccia Prada will remain the creative director of Miu Miu and Prada (the latter together with Raf Simons), as well as a board member.
“This is a fundamental step we have decided to undertake, while completely engaged in the company. To contribute more to the evolution of the Prada Group. And to ease the succession of Lorenzo Bertelli, the future leader of the group,” Prada said in a statement.
