The internet has ordained the former commissioner as the patron saint of online “bardagulan,” the Filipino word for discord which has come to mean a rumble done on the internet.
Since her February 2 retirement, she’s stayed active online to give her take on the latest hot topics in the Philippines.
Her piece of mind gave social media users peace of mind.
Here are just some moments when Guanzon had people cracking up with her shade and wit.
Fire away
If Toni Gonzaga was wondering whether anyone had noticed that she invited the UniTeam crowd to sing Titanium with her right when the highest note was coming, Guanzon certainly did.
She’s so savage
Along with her many supporters, Guanzon also has a fair share of critics and bashers who don’t find her posts so funny. But that never stopped her from attempting comedic gold in the comments section.
All tea, all shade
Guanzon has also delivered “punchlines” at presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. The lawyer has multiple posts linked to Marcos, including allusions to debate-skipping, corruption, and lack of academic credentials.
Of course, none of this is a secret. Guanzon has been vocal about her opposition to the candidacy of Marcos, as seen in her candid posts.
