Swing For The Filipino Dream
Beyond the tournament at the heart of the first International Series Philippines, DigiPlus ensured the entire week became a celebration—not only of the sport’s elite caliber, but also of the Philippines’ warmth, talent, and hospitality. This spirit came to life through a series of events held throughout the week, including pre-event mall tours, press conferences, a gala night, and a music festival titled “Swing for the Filipino Dream” at the Aseana City Concert Grounds.
The culminating event brought global talent to the stage, headlined by Norwegian DJ and EDM superstar Alan Walker and the Black Eyed Peas’ Apl.de.Ap. They performed alongside icons of Filipino music such as Bamboo, Parokya ni Edgar, Sandwich, LILY, Urbandub, and Kiara, as well as acclaimed dance groups A-Team and UPeepz.
This memorable week became a showcase of far more than the tournament at its center. It reflected DigiPlus’ broader vision to bring sports, entertainment, and cultural engagement together on a platform that places the Philippines firmly in the global spotlight. In many ways, the experience embodied exactly what its culminating festival celebrated: a unified, forward-looking swing for the Filipino dream.
