Known for its craftsmanship and sublime quality, Swarovski introduced THE LION AKILI as the iconic creation for this year’s Swarovski Crystal Society (SCS) at Rustan’s Shangri-La Mall. Inspired by the majesty of the lion, Designer Heinz Tabertshofer created an icon of royal power that manifests an unbreakable bond of family and love. Each creation was designed and carved with lavishly clear-cut crystal.
Alexander Swarovski a member of the fifth generation of the Swarovski family graced the event. Together with Paolo Tantoco a third generation member of the Tantoco family and host Tessa Prieto Valdes, Alexander raised a toast with Rustan’s Chairman Emeritus Amb. Bienvenido Tantoco, Sr. to commemorate the remarkable partnership between Swarovski and Rustan’s.
