By

Formed to rouse significant dialogue regarding fashion and religious works of art featured in the museum, the 150 + carefully curated ensembles will shed light on the complex, ever-thin silver lining that exists between faith and fashion, as described by Costume Institute curator in charge Andrew Bolton.

The festivities will be done in 3 separate locations: the Anna Wintour Costume Center, the medieval galleries at the Met’s Fifth Avenue location, and Cloisters, featuring masterpieces by big names in fashion such as Cristóbal Balenciaga, Donatella Versace (an acting sponsor), Jon Galliano, Coco Chanel, Christine and Stephen A. Schwarzman.
