Because nothing says redemption quite like non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Anna “Delvey” Sorokin, the con-artist featured in the Netflix limited series Inventing Anna, wants to clean her name by entering the NFT trade.

Moreover, Sorokin has named her debut NFT collection “Reinventing Anna,” in direct reference to the show that popularized her story.

“To New York’s elite, Anna Delvey was an heiress with a big trust fund and bigger dreams. She fooled them all—and reporter Vivian Kent wants her story,” reads Inventing Anna’s official synopsis.

Sorokin, who is still in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody, told NBC News that she is trying to move away from the “scammer persona.”

“This is, like totally, has been pushed upon me by the prosecution and by the following media and by the Netflix show, but I’m trying to move away from that definitely,” Sorokin said.

Dubbed the “socialite scammer,” Sorokin conned wealthy individuals in New York out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. She had pretended to be a rich German heiress who couldn’t access her fortune while abroad.

Eventually, Sorokin’s scheme failed. Authorities arrested then sentenced her to up to 12 years in prison, but then released her in April after she served four years. She now faces possible deportation under the custody of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Nonetheless, Sorokin has managed to mint 10 NFTs that will provide “exclusive access” to her. Any buyers would gain perks like one-on-one phone calls with her.

Meanwhile, three “ultra platinum” NFTs will allow holders to meet Sorokin in person. They would also receive a package of “personal items” belonging to her.
