A constellation of young stars rose to supernova status in the recently concluded annual Le Bal des Débutantes held last November 25 at France’s Peninsula Hotel.
20 debutantes were introduced to society this year, including that of Alice de Séjournet de Rameignies, Donna Giacinta dei Marchesi Brivio Sforza, Charlotte Bell, Princess Maria Francisca de Bragança, Princess Gauravi Kumari de Jaipur, Princess Charlotte de Nassau, Princess Natasha d’Arenberg, and Paris McCaw.
Also in attendance were some familiar names such as Maia Twombly (granddaughter of artist Cy Twombly’s), Ella Beatty (daughter of Warren Beatty and Annette Bening), Anna Cleveland (daughter of Pat Cleveland), Kyra Kennedy, Sophia Stallone (daughter of Sylvester Stallone), Lori Harvey (stepdaughter of Steve Harvey), Romy David (daughter of Larry David), and Ava Phillippe (Reese Witherspoon’s daughter with Ryan Phillippe), who stunned in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture whilst being escorted by none other than 19-year-old Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur.
Proceeds from this year’s Le Bal will help benefit the Seleni Institute, a center for women’s health located in New York City.
