The second day of Lifestyle Asia’s The Lost Weekend embodies mindfulness in motion, revealing how intentional movement can enrich every aspect of life.
The Lost Weekend, Lifestyle Asia’s ongoing three-day wellness getaway, continues to redefine “the good life” for a new generation through the second day of its itinerary. Where Day 1 set the tone with “Nourish”—a theme that explored how we feed the soul not only through food and drink, but also through stillness and simple joy—Day 2 carried this mindfulness forward, this time through the theme “Move.”
Here, movement goes beyond mere action. It speaks to intention: the quiet awareness that guides every choice, gesture, and breath. Each becomes a conscious act of embracing life’s moments, both big and small. At the heart of it all is Nawa Wellness, a Filipino sanctuary set against the tranquil, verdant landscape of Calatagan, Batangas—a space where select guests spend their mornings to evenings unwinding and reconnecting with themselves, as well as one another.

A Breath Of Fresh Air
The morning of Day 2 began with a guided Breath Work, Meditation, and Stretching experience. Coach Levy Romanes of Nawa Wellness guided guests through simple yet effective breathing exercises that helped set the tone for a calm start to the day. Coach Hans Christian Anderson walked them through the stretching, which was a breeze in the comfortable footwear provided by Havaianas. Tropical chic totes from the brand also complemented the footwear, providing guests with practical and stylish companions for the day’s activities.

The Pause Before Movement
Guests then made their way to The Apothecary, where they joined a Mandala Art Activity led by Marilou Bejasa. As they arranged flowers into circular wooden vessels, conversations flowed easily and connections formed naturally.

More than a simple craft to keep the hands busy, the activity invited mindfulness—each act of creation encouraging guests to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their thoughts, emotions, and overall sense of being. For instance, guests Erika Remollo and Monica Concepcion created mandalas that symbolized new chapters in their lives—Erika as a newlywed, and Monica as a soon-to-be bride.

“The mandala is a circle of life,” Marilou shared during the session. “It represents nature and spirituality, helps in relaxation, and releases anxiety and creativity.”
Afterward, guests paired off to experience signature Nawa Wellness treatments. These included sessions in the Himalayan Salt Room, where mineral-rich salt bricks purify the air and support respiratory health, as well as the Kawa Bath—a warm, aromatic herbal soak rooted in Filipino tradition that provides deep relaxation and gentle relief for tired muscles.

An Afternoon Of Leisure
Newly refreshed and sporting sleek sunglasses from Vision Express, guests embarked on a scenic nature trail, climbing an uphill slope while taking in the lush sights and tranquil sounds of Nawa Wellness’ verdant surroundings. At the trail’s peak, they were greeted by an inviting pickleball court—where an energizing afternoon match awaited, guided by Coach Hans Christian Andersen.

As golden hour arrived, the group descended once more, gathering at a serene lookout to witness the sun dip below the horizon, marking a moment of quiet wonder framed by nature’s splendor. Dinner unfolded as an equally picturesque affair that delighted every sense. Nawa Wellness closed its main roundabout exclusively for the Lifestyle Asia dinner, where guests enjoyed a four-course menu featuring a refreshing Alugbati Thai Salad, velvety Cream of Mushroom soup, and a hearty pairing of Steak au Poivre and Prawns served with creamy mashed potatoes. The meal concluded with a sweet indulgence: Crepe Samurai.

The evening’s highlight, however, came in the form of an exclusive creation—a collaboration between Magnum Philippines and Chef Dos of Nawa Wellness. Their “Tropical Dream” smoothie offered a refreshing blend of ripe mangoes and the creamy richness of Magnum Strawberry ice cream, finished with chia seeds and flecks of local dark chocolate.

Amid lively conversation, guests dined beneath the Heritage Tree: a 150-year-old acacia believed to grant wishes and help fulfill aspirations. Across the dining area stood the Malabon building, which serves as the main reception; its traditional architecture, intricate woodwork, and expansive glass windows are a proud homage to Malabon’s heritage, evoking the nostalgic warmth of Filipino charm.

By the end of the second day, movement revealed itself not as the act of going farther, but of going deeper—into awareness, connection, and the present moment. Through every mindful breath, creative gesture, and stride under the sun, guests at The Lost Weekend discovered that the truest form of movement is one that draws us closer to ourselves and to the world around us, creating a rewarding harmony between stillness and stride, doing and simply being.
