From childhood friends to lovers, Braeden Biron and Isabella Oca tied the knot through a sweet, intimate, and carefully curated celebration.

Braeden “BJ” Biron and Isabella Oca have known each other since they were 12 years old. As classmates, they’ve always belonged in the same circle of friends. It was only in 2021, still in the middle of the pandemic, when the two became single at the same time and the puzzle pieces fell into place.
LOVE ALWAYS FINDS A WAY
“We started to hang out more and one thing led to another and we both realized we were so comfortable with each other and it felt right,” Isabella tells Lifestyle Asia. Since then, the two have become inseparable, seeing each other almost every day.
Because date options were still limited during that time, they usually spent their time together having dinner dates at home. After a year of being an official couple, BJ and Isabella got engaged.
“I made it a point to tell him that I wanted our proposal with no frills and nothing over the top,” Isabella says when asked about how BJ popped the question. “He proposed in his apartment with just the both of us. Simple and meaningful.”
OUR DESTINIES ARE ONE
BJ and Isabella officially tied the knot on January 21, 2023. Unlike their proposal, the couple went all out on their wedding day with a huge celebration in the company of the people closest to them.
“I have to give all the credits to my mother-in-law for the concept of our wedding. She had the most input and wanted everything in our wedding to be gorgeous and luxurious,” Isabella shares. “We told our stylist that we wanted the flowers to have an impact on people and for it to be over the top but at the same time still tasteful.”
