Louis Vuitton enters beauty with La Beauté, led by Pat McGrath. Included: 55 lipsticks, luxe balms, bold shadows, and heirloom-worthy packaging.
Louis Vuitton has officially dropped the beauty bombshell we didn’t know we were waiting for: La Beauté Louis Vuitton. Forget the days when Louis Vuitton was synonymous only with bags, trunks, and fragrances—now, it’s also lipsticks, balms, and eyeshadows, each carrying just as much drama (and heritage) as a monogrammed Keepall.
Leading the brand’s beauty revolution is none other than the icon herself, Pat McGrath, who is officially Louis Vuitton’s Creative Director of Cosmetics.

With this new product line, Louis Vuitton showcases its history, artistry, and obsession with detail—presenting makeup as objects of desire meant to be treasured forever.
“Make-up is culture. It’s power. Its presence. And it’s personal,” says McGrath in a press release. “Luxury in make-up is about performance, craftsmanship, and sensoriality. It’s about textures that feel exquisite, colors that captivate, and formulas that perform flawlessly.”

La Beauté Louis Vuitton Has Arrived
Let’s start with the headline act: 55 lipsticks. The number is no accident—it’s a nod to the Roman numeral LV (yes, the branding is strong with this one). Expect creamy satins, plush mattes, and shades with stories to tell—like 896 Monogram Rouge, a tribute to the Maison’s iconic canvas, or 854 Rouge Louis, a scarlet so confident it could own its runway.
“Lipstick is presence. It’s a signature in a single stroke. It’s how women carry themselves in the world,” McGrath declares.

Balms and eyeshadows are not playing backup either. The 10-piece Baume lineup promises hydration with a glow (because cracked lips are never chic), while the LV Ombres eyeshadows come in harmonies that mix everyday wearability with one bold, show-stealing shade.
“The eyeshadows really set the tone for La Beauté Louis Vuitton—they are bold, intentional, and made to be remembered,” McGrath adds.

And yes, LV knows you want staying power: the formulas deliver skincare-level hydration, long-wear pigments, and even a touch of perfumer’s magic. The lipsticks carry notes of mimosa, jasmine, and rose, courtesy of Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, the Maison’s master perfumer. So not only will your lips look flawless, but they’ll also smell like couture.
LV Beauty’s Legacy
Of course, Louis Vuitton isn’t just about what’s inside the tube. The packaging, designed by industrial designer Konstantin Grcic, is the epitome of luxury: think aluminum and brass, refillable, and meant to last forever. “This isn’t just about looks. It’s about creating makeup that is functional, refillable, and worth keeping for years,” Grcic explains.

And because Louis Vuitton can’t resist a good trunk moment, La Beauté comes with handcrafted vanity cases and mini lipstick pouches that prove beauty isn’t just a ritual—it’s a lifestyle. Or as McGrath herself sums it up: “We’ve made something heirloom-worthy. Iconic. Bold. And unforgettable.”

The launch goes beyond product drop with equal parts heritage and innovation, designed to claim a permanent place in your rotation.
