The Maude Method Makes A New Case For Self-Care

By

Maude Labs explores the intricate, inextricable relationship between wellness and leadership in an experiential workshop.

For many founders, creatives, and executives working in high-pressure environments, wellness is becoming part of the infrastructure that supports sustained performance rather than something that happens outside of it. That idea is the focus of The Maude Method, an experiential workshop organized by Maude Labs.

Taking place on March 28, 2026 at Manila House, the event will see professionals in medicine, wellness, and entrepreneurship explore how practices that support physical and mental well-being influence leadership and long-term career growth.

Connecting Productivity Culture To Sustainable Performance

In many professional settings, productivity has historically been associated with long hours and constant availability. Yet the long-term effects of that culture—like burnout, fatigue, and declining engagement—have become difficult to ignore. Many leaders are beginning to look at wellness differently. Rather than focusing on isolated habits, holistic self-care considers the interaction between physical health, mental clarity, emotional regulation, and nervous system balance.

According to Maude Labs’ founder and CEO Tin Santos, the connection between well-being and leadership performance is something she has seen repeatedly in her work with entrepreneurs and professionals. “I’ve seen how self-care impacts the way people show up in their work and leadership. In a culture that glorifies busyness and overworking, it is actually more productive to prioritize wellness. When people are regulated, rested, and clear, they make better decisions and build better relationships,” she states.

Research in stress physiology and cognitive performance increasingly supports this view. When the nervous system is regulated, individuals tend to experience stronger focus and improved emotional awareness.

Leaders Shaping The Wellness Conversation

The workshop brings together practitioners working across different areas of the wellness field. Candy Dalman Drillon of Centro Holistico and BioVitalis will present an integrative medical perspective that combines clinical science with holistic care, as her work emphasizes prevention, balance, and long-term vitality.

Another session will focus on performance optimization through biohacking. David Jacobs and Fai Tabusalla will introduce approaches used at Longevity Labs, including recovery protocols, data-driven health insights, and technologies designed to support energy, focus, and longevity.

The program also examines the role of community in sustaining wellness practices. Amanda Griffin-Jacob of Vida Yoga will discuss how shared practice and connection often determine whether wellness habits become sustainable.

Meanwhile, Rene McHugh-Rodrigo of Oh Holiday and Alexandra Santos of Face Sculpt will lead a conversation on the intersection of beauty, care, and entrepreneurship, exploring how wellness brands are evolving alongside growing interest in longevity and holistic health. Fitness instructor Luigi Posadas of Vida Yoga is also set to lead his trademark Pop Pilates class.

Experiencing wellness in practice

Beyond talks and panel discussions, the event includes experiential elements designed to translate ideas into practice. Participants will also take part in guided movement sessions intended to provide a practical reset for the body and nervous system.

Networking is also structured differently from typical professional events, with conversations meant to encourage more intentional interaction among attendees. It reinforces the idea that meaningful connections often form more naturally in environments that support presence and well-being.

The experiential workshop organized by Maude Labs will take place on March 28, 2026 at Manila House. Tickets cost P8,500 each, which gives you all-access to the event. Slots are limited. Purchase your tickets here.
