After its first run in the Philippines back in 2016, Sofitel‘s global signature event returns to Manila this Independence Day. La Nuit (French for “The Night”) is Sofitel’s worldwide traveling party concept that exemplifies the French way of living with the glamour of Parisian night life. Though with a changing theme in every stop, a sure constant in every La Nuit party is music, mixology, and design that is undeniably French.
Launched back in 2014 with its inaugural event in Marrakech, Sofitel’s La Nuit has made multiple stops throughout the years. Highlights include Cannes and Dubai in 2015; Bangkok, Rio de Janeiro, and Manila in 2016; Mumbai and Berlin in 2017; and Singapore and Chicago in 2018, among others notable stops.
This year, in celebration of freedom, La Nuit partners with MEGA magazine in their prodigal return to Manila. Not only to commemorate Philippine independence, but to celebrate freedom in all aspects. After the formal gala of the Mega Equality Ball, Sofitel’s ballroom will transform from an elegant banquet to an LED cascaded dark hall that kicks off La Nuit. The ball’s official afterparty will serve signature La Nuit cocktails named after Parisian landmarks such as Paris La Nuit, Sacré-Cœur, Champs Elysees, and Bastille.
La Nuit is part of Sofitel’s global branding campaign to Live the French Way. As well as Accor Group’s promotion of equality and inclusion. This year’s La Nuit by Sofitel will be a celebration of unity in diversity while embodying the allure of French style and art de vivre (art of living).
