Divided into 13 stops, the exhibit will also include some of the singer’s personal items, showcasing pivotal moments throughout her life and career.
London’s Victoria and Albert Museum will be featuring an exhibit of one of the world’s biggest stars. Titled Taylor Swift: Songbook Trail, the exhibit will showcase some of the singer’s costumes, accessories, and other personal items.
According to the museum’s website, the “theatrical trail will mark the success of Taylor Swift’s UK tour and celebrate the creativity of her costumes, lyrics and music videos as well as exploring the global phenomenon of the pop icon.”

Divided into 13 stops (a number close to Swift’s heart), each one is a chapter in the singer’s career and will spotlight a particular era of her music.
Some of the notable items that will be on display include the customized cowboy boots she wore as she rose to fame as a country singer and the black ruffled dress from her recent music video for “Fortnight.”
Along with the costumes, Swift’s instruments, music awards, and storyboards will also be featured in the exhibit. The museum shared that they have also gathered a previously unseen archive exploring the singer’s childhood and recording legacy.
“Taylor Swift’s songs, like objects, tell stories, often drawing from art, history and literature. We hope this theatrical trail across the museum will inspire curious visitors to discover more about the performer, her creativity and V&A objects,” said senior curator Kate Bailey.
The exhibit, with installations by British theater designer Tom Piper, is free of charge. It will be open from July 27 to September 8, 2024 while Swift is on the Europe leg of her Eras Tour.
