Team Great Britain and Ben Sherman

For the third Olympic Games running, Team Great Britain has partnered with heritage brand Ben Sherman for their uniforms. Throughout the collection, the brand included a four-nation flower motif. A rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock represents each of the nations within the United Kingdom.

For the opening ceremony, Team GB will be sporting bomber jackets with the flowers embroidered on the back. The white polo shirt worn inside is described as a deconstructed Union Jack.

Team Italy and Armani

Home of many luxury fashion houses, Team Italy will be wearing designs from EA7 Emporio Armani, the label’s sportswear line. EA7 first became Team Italy’s official outfitter during the London Summer Olympic Games in 2012.

Team Mongolia and Michel & Amazonka

Team Mongolia’s opening ceremony uniform has been drawing attention for striking the balance between tradition and modernity. Designed by prêt-à-couture brand Michel & Amazonka, the uniforms were unveiled on July 3. The label first dressed Team Mongolia during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Featuring intricate details in gold thread, the ceremonial uniforms are embroidered with national and Olympic symbols. These include the Nine White Banners, the Olympic torch, and representations of the sun, moon, and the Gua-Maral (myth deer).
