A portion of these shows’ proceeds went to various charity organizations committed to making a difference in the world. Over $6.5 million will benefit causes such as reproductive health, environmentalism, gun safety, and many more.
Styles donated to several charities including Planned Parenthood, Choose Love, Physicians for Reproductive Health, Black Voters Matter Fund, The Afiya Center, International Rescue Committee, Intermission Youth, Save the Children, CARE, and Every Town for Gun Safety.
Adding to his charity donations, the singer also partnered with the non-profit voter registration organization HeadCount. Over 54,000 new voters were registered thanks to him, with the incentive that they could get the chance to attend Harryween in Los Angeles.
Styles’ concerts have become a safe haven for fans who just want to escape reality for a little while. Earlier this year, he went a step further and invited three Ukrainian refugees to the Poland stop of his tour with the help of the International Rescue Committee.
Love on Tour officially wrapped up in Reggio Emilia, Italy on July 22. With a new instrumental song and an emotional speech, Styles thanked all the fans who have supported him.
“You guys being here tonight, I know you wanted to make it special for me. You make it special for me every single night. The atmosphere that you have created, the family that you have created, this safe space that you have created… I want to thank you for everything,” Styles said in his speech.
“Put love out into the world. It needs it a bit right now. I love you all so much, and I’m gonna miss you.”
