Lionel Messi and Carlos Alcaraz for Louis Vuitton

One of the highest-paid athletes in the world, Lionel Messi, was the face of Louis Vuitton’s Horizons Never End campaign last year, after winning the FIFA World Cup. The solo campaign celebrated the spirit of travel and featured the athlete en route to his next destination with his Horizon suitcase.

“For me, the horizon is looking to the future, letting my imagination carry me and thinking about what could happen, what the future holds—all its possibilities,” Messi said.

A couple of months later, Louis Vuitton named world-renowned tennis champion Carlos Alcaraz as its new house ambassador. Alcaraz is the youngest player in history to be ranked No. 1 in men’s singles. He earned the title at only 19 years old.

“The truth is that I feel very proud. It’s a dream for me to now be a part of the Louis Vuitton family,” the star athlete shared.

Yang Shuyu for Prada

Chinese basketball player Yang Shuyu became a Prada brand ambassador in May last year. In the 2020 Summer Olympics, she played a pivotal role in securing a bronze medal for her country.

Yang was part of a campaign featuring three other Chinese athletes. Along with shot-putter Gong Lijiao, marathon runner Li Zhixuan, and water polo player Xiong Dunhan, the campaign showed how “they exemplify female strength and individual beauty.”

Kylian Mbappé for Hublot

Quickly ascending the ranks as a football sensation, Kylian Mbappé has been a Hublot ambassador since 2018. Now considered one of the best players in the world, Hublot described the French athlete as one who “embodies the new generation. He is renowned for his extraordinary powers of acceleration, his unpredictability, and his reading of the game.”

Charles Leclerc for Richard Mille

Currently racing in Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari, Charles Leclerc has had Richard Mille in his corner since 2011. “Noted for his times, and his speedy qualifiers, the driver attracted my attention and enthusiasm, immediately convincing the brand to support his budding talent,” Mille stated.

“There are few people that believed in me since the beginning, and Richard is one of them,” Leclerc wrote on Instagram in 2021. “So happy to see @richardmille back on my overall!”

The driver wears a prototype of the brand’s RM 67-02. The lightweight, elegant, and sporty automatic watch can adapt to a variety of disciplines. Their partnership also allows Richard Mille to try out new technical solutions as Leclerc uses the brand’s watches in his races.

Eileen Gu for Tiffany & Co.

Eileen Gu became an Olympic gold medalist in freestyle skiing at just 18 years old. In 2021, the part-time model became a Tiffany & Co. global ambassador. She has also graced the covers of the Chinese editions of Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue, among others.
