The much-anticipated Uber Eats Super Bowl commercial for 2024 brought together a galaxy of stars. Among them were Jennifer Aniston and her former on-screen flame David Schwimmer. They famously starred in the iconic TV series Friends.

But what stole the show wasn’t just the star power; it was the comedic twist of forgetfulness that had viewers in stitches.

In the Uber Eats commercial posted on YouTube, Aniston kicks off by graciously thanking a production assistant for fetching her Uber Eats bag.

Expressing surprise at the array of offerings available on the platform, she quips, “I didn’t know you can get all this stuff on Uber Eats. I gotta remember that.” Aniston then wittily remarks, “Well, you know what they say, in order to remember something, you got to forget something else. Make a little room.”

David Schwimmer appears, pleasantly surprised to see Aniston on the same studio lot. With a warm smile, he approaches her for a hug, inadvertently squashing the flowers nestled in her Uber Eats bag. Aniston, pretending she doesn’t remember well, acts like she doesn’t know her old friend, asking, “Have we met?”

In a bid to jog her memory, Schwimmer reminisces about their decade-long stint together. Aniston amusingly responds, “Ten years? You were great,” maintaining the facade of forgetfulness.

Schwimmer, realizing Aniston’s act, eventually gives up, admitting defeat. Aniston casually walks away with her goodies, saying, “As if I’d forget ten years of my life,” while Schwimmer grumbles, “I hate this town.”

A Super Bowl Treat

The commercial doesn’t stop there; it features a slew of other celebrities succumbing to forgetfulness.

David and Victoria Beckham engage in playful banter. David hilariously blanks on Victoria’s Spice Girls moniker. This leads to amusing guesses like “pepper lady” and “cinnamon sisters.”

Jelly Roll adds to the comedic chaos as he panics upon discovering his face tattoos, exclaiming, “Did someone doodle on my face?”

Usher, making a cameo, cheekily dreams of headlining a halftime show someday, tying in with his upcoming performance.

With the tagline, “Whatever you forget, remember Uber Eats gets groceries,” the commercial cleverly capitalizes on the forgetfulness theme. This leaves viewers entertained and craving more.

The teaser released earlier hinted at the comedic antics in store, building anticipation for the big reveal during the Super Bowl.

According to CBS Sports, viewers can expect a delightful dose of star-studded humor. The commercial airs during the clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers on CBS, February 11, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. ET.
