These Korean stars have become power couples in the entertainment industry.
When Korean celebrities open up about their relationships to the public, it always becomes a big deal, especially when they’re both from the entertainment industry.
Many of them prefer to keep their love lives private. But there are some stars that have proven to be couple goals, with their sweet gestures and successful careers.

Jisoo and Ahn Bo-hyun
Blackpink’s Jisoo and actor Ahn Bo Hyun are the most recent K-celebrities who were revealed to be dating. Ahn’s agency confirmed the relationship to CNN after the couple was spotted together in Seoul.
“The two are in a stage where they are getting to know each other slowly with good feelings. We would appreciate if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze,” said FN Entertainment.
Blackpink recently performed at Coachella as the first Asian act to headline the festival. Meanwhile, Ahn has starred in hit dramas such as Itaewon Class, Yumi’s Cells, and Descendants of the Sun.
IU and Lee Jong-suk
The “Nation’s Sweetheart” IU and actor/model Lee Jong-suk first worked together back in 2012 as hosts of the music show Inkigayo. After this partnership, Lee revealed that IU became one of his closest friends in the industry.
While the two continued to support each other’s careers, Lee stirred up romance rumors when he thanked a “special someone” in his acceptance speech at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards. “I want to tell that person that I’m thankful to them for always being so admirable, that I’ve liked them a lot for a very long time, and that I respect and admire them greatly,” the actor said.
A day later, the pair’s agencies confirmed their relationship and that they had been dating for months. Since then, both stars have shared that their significant other inspires them to do better in their work and in life.
Lee Do-hyun and Lim Ji-yeon
Though the stars of Netflix’s The Glory played characters on opposite sides, Lee Do-hyun and Lim Ji-yeon have found common ground in real life. Their agencies both confirmed the relationship in April of this year.
“After spending some time as close colleagues, the two of them developed an interest in one another, and they are cautiously getting to know each other,” said Yuehua Entertainment.
Since starring in the hit revenge drama, Lee admitted during a roundtable interview that they’ve both been busy with their individual schedules. However, they continue to support each other’s careers, even going through the scripts of their projects together.
Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin
K-pop idol Taeyang first met his now wife Min Hyo-rin in 2014 while filming the music video for his song “1AM.” Fellow BIGBANG member and close friend G-Dragon was the one who recommended the actress for the role.
Though the couple went through a brief breakup, they’re now going stronger than ever. In 2018, Taeyang became the first BIGBANG member to get married.
While often in the spotlight, the two don’t shy away from mentioning their partner in interviews and variety shows. In 2021, the couple welcomed their first child together.
Jung Kyung-ho and Choi Soo-young
Hospital Playlist and Crash Course in Romance star Jung Kyung-ho and Girls Generation’s Choi Soo-young have been dating for over a decade now. The couple are often seen commenting on each other’s social media and going on dates in the city.
During a round of interviews for Jung’s film Men of Plastic, the actor shared that Choi is the person he talks to the most and that they both cheer each other on with their careers.
When asked about the possibility of marriage, Jung said that they’ve never had a concrete conversation about it. However, he thinks that they should get married “when the right time comes.”
Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin
Last but definitely not least, Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin became a powerhouse couple since starring in Crash Landing on You together and confirming their real life relationship after the drama aired.
The couple got married in 2022 in what was considered the Korean entertainment industry’s “Wedding of the Century.”
Later that year, Son announced her pregnancy. In November, their agencies revealed that the actors were now parents to a healthy baby boy.
