The Vincenzo star joins the likes of BTS’ J-Hope and NewJeans’ Hyein to represent the French fashion powerhouse.
Louis Vuitton announced Song Joong-ki as their newest house ambassador ahead of his Cannes Film Festival debut.
“With Song Joong-ki as our new ambassador, we embark on a new journey with Song, who ceaselessly continues his adventure and attempts in acting,” said Louis Vuitton in a press release sent to Korean media outlets.

The release was accompanied by a photo of Song wearing a Louis Vuitton Monogram Shibori Napolitana co-ord set. The look is elevated with a long, white leather overcoat. This ensemble was first seen in the brand’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2023 Collection.
The actor has been promoting his upcoming movie Hopeless which was invited to the festival for Un Certain Regard, a section dedicated to looking to new horizons and filmmakers. The new house ambassador chose a classic black suit from Louis Vuitton paired with Chelsea boots for his appearance.
The noir film, directed by Kim Chang-hoon, is set to be released in theaters later this year. Song is best known for his roles in Descendants of the Sun, Arthdal Chronicles, The Battleship Island, Vincenzo, and Reborn Rich.
With his illustrious career, the actor recently placed fourth in Forbes Korea’s list of most powerful celebrities in 2023.
