In celebration of this year’s OMEGA Masters golf tournament—the oldest in Europe, held at the Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club since 1939—the luxury Swiss watchmaker hosted an exclusive gala at L’Arnouva on Saturday, August 30. The event took place on the eve of the tournament’s finale and was attended by OMEGA brand ambassador Eddie Redmayne, the Academy Award–winning actor who has represented the brand since 2015.

Luxury On The Mountaintops
L’Arnouva, located in the picturesque region of Crans-Montana in Switzerland, has long been a favorite destination for hikers and skiers seeking the ideal setting for their sport. Renowned for its luxury accommodations and exceptional cuisine, it’s also home to exclusive experiential events, such as the recent OMEGA gala. The occasion marked OMEGA’s 24th year as the title sponsor of the OMEGA Masters, with guests transported via cable car to enjoy sweeping 360-degree views of the Swiss Alps.
Among those on the ride was actor Eddie Redmayne, who expressed his delight at the experience of going up and seeing the incredible things the brand has accomplished beyond its iconic watches.

The actor shared in a statement: “During these past 10 years with OMEGA, I’ve witnessed so many incredible parts of the brand, whether it’s the Olympic Games or the precision on display at their factory. I’ve learned there are always more surprises to uncover. It’s impressive to see the impact they have within the wider world of sport, and how their values of precision and performance are represented here at this amazing golfing location.”

Guests Of Style & Substance
Eddie Redmayne first made waves in mainstream entertainment as part of the ensemble cast of the 2012 hit musical movie Les Misérables. He soon achieved both critical acclaim and leading-man status with his performance in The Theory of Everything (2014), for which he earned the Academy Award for Best Actor. Since then, Redmayne has remained in demand, taking on acclaimed roles across film, television, and theater—including The Good Nurse, the series The Day of the Jackal, and most recently, a lauded Broadway run in Cabaret.
Beyond his talent, he’s recognized for a timeless sense of style that aligns seamlessly with OMEGA’s values. His presence at the gala brought an added touch of distinction, reinforcing the elegance and sophistication at the heart of the brand. For the event, he wore a Seamaster Railmaster in stainless steel (235.10.38.20.06.001).

Joining Redmayne were other special guests: a group of OMEGA’s golfing ambassadors, including Kim Métraux, Wyndham Clark, Rasmus Hojgaard, Nicolai Hojgaard, Danny Willett, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Erik Van Rooyen, Frank Kennedy, and Guido Migliozzi.
Also present was Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA, who welcomed guests to the event. “Being here in the mountains, celebrating one of our favourite Swiss sporting events, there really is no better way to experience our OMEGA home,” he said. “I’m delighted to welcome everyone here this evening, and especially Eddie, who is getting to experience another unique passion of our brand.”
