Soaring Opportunities
Ten talented Filipino designers are set to make a significant impact on the global fashion stage. Their journey will culminate in Milan with the FASHIONPhilippines Milan Mentorship Program 2025, highlighted by a high-profile three-day exhibition (September 23-25, 2025) at the esteemed Fondazione Sozzani.

The Fondazione Sozzani is a renowned space for art and fashion, having previously hosting legends such as Yayoi Kusama, Maison Margiela, and Helmut Newton—making it a powerful backdrop for their debut collections. The timing is also significant, coincding with the vibrant atmosphere of Milan Fashion Week S/S 2026 and ensuring maximum exposure during a key industry event.
Beyond the Milan exhibition, the program offers a valuable and immersive experience. Before their international debut, the chosen designers will receive personalized mentorship from industry leaders such as Riccardo Grassi of RG Showroom and Sara Sozzani Maino, the creative director of Fondazione Sozzani and a dedicated advocate for new talent. This mentorship focuses not only on refining their artistic vision but also on equipping them with strategies to navigate the complexities of the global market.

Sara Sozzani Maino believes that “the fusion of creativity and collaboration is where innovation begins,” a philosophy central to the program.
“We’re not just showcasing talent—we’re building the future of Philippine fashion on an international scale,” says DTI Secretary Cris Roque, emphasizing a broader ambition.
Leah Pulido-Ocampo of CITEM adds that the program aims to establish lasting connections with international buyers and establish Filipino design as a significant player in the global fashion landscape. This initiative is designed to create a strong and enduring international presence for Philippine fashion.
