Tadashi Shoji, renowned designer for the red carpet, has just released a shocking 44-piece Jimi Hendrix-esque collection, and we are here for it.
Aiding in the grand entrance of Shoji’s Fall collection into Metro Manila’s fashion scene, Rustan’s exclusively released the designer’s new pieces during their 65th Anniversary celebration entitled “Sapphire Ball”, held at The Peninsula Manila.
Esteemed guests, members of the press, and partners—all of which were invited by the Tantoco family—delighted in Shoji’s new release, which will be sold exclusively at all Rustan’s branches nationwide. Some of the notable personalities in attendance were TV personality Marie Lozano, PR Maven and model Apples Aberin, fashion photographer and model Jo Ann Bitagcol, and writer and blogger Grace Barbers Baja, style icons Mikaela Martinez, Xandra Rocha, Keri Zamora, Tootsie Angara, as well as beauty queens Gloria Diaz and Margie Moran.
The Fall collection is a showcase of Shoji’s expert manipulation of textures, featuring flowing velvet dresses with luxurious coats, meticulous embroidery painstakingly crafted by hand, dramatic lace dresses with sheer panels, to name a few.
