The hotel also has restaurant helmed by Reale’s Niko Romito.
Bulgari Hotels & Resorts just announced that it has opened shop in Paris, in Avenue George V. Bulgari Hotel Paris brings an residential experience that merges the sensibilities of the Italian luxury house with local history and tradition.
The hotel is located in Triangle D’Or (Golden Triangle) in Paris’ 8th Arrondissement, a traditionally high-end neighborhood that features premium brand boutiques and fashion houses.
It is designed by the Italian multi-disciplinary firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV), who is also responsible for such products as the La Bella Vita, Gate Central, Novecent Opiucento as well as the Bulgari Hotels in Rome, Shanghai, Dubai, and Beijing.
ACPV worked in tandem with the French architectural firm Valode & Pistre. The hotel has 76 rooms and suites, including the Bulgari Penthouse, a private apartment that measures nearly 400 square meters and a 569 square meter panoramic roof garden.
Inside, the main dining point is its Il Ristorante-Niko Romito, whose namesake chef of course opened the only three Michelin-starred restaurant (Reale) in Abruzzo. In his Il Ristorante at the Parisian hotel, his cuisine is served in individual and sharing portions—including his famous “bomba.”
There is also a two-level spa within the hotel, which is a nod to Bulgari’s Roman roots. The Spa is open to both residents and locals. Clad in Pietra di Vicenza and Burmese teak, it is a space entirely devoted to inner and physical well-being, relaxation and sport.
It is also home to a 25-metre Pool, finished with green mosaic tiles and shimmering gold accents. Decorated with glass columns crafted using a Lalique technique, the entrance recalls the magnificence of Roman baths and represents a fusion of French and Italian traditions.
Paris is the seventh property opened under the Bulgari Hotels and Resorts brands. The company was launched in 2001 in a joint venture with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Group. Bulgari Hotels are slated to open in both Moscow and Tokyo in 2022.
