The fan-sponsored Taylor Swift cruise includes a four-night trip to a private island in the Bahamas, with activities like karaoke, friendship bracelet exchanges, and Era-themed outfit nights for die-hard Swifties.
To say that singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has made a name for herself would be an understatement. Her impact on modern pop culture is so immense that universities are opening courses on her oeuvre and museums are hosting entire exhibitions on the artist. Swift has become a billionaire and one of the most successful musical talents in the world, due in part to the ardent love and support of her fans.

A recent testament to her fanbase’s power is the 2024 Taylor Swift-themed cruise aboard the Royal Caribbean’s “Allure of the Seas.” This is the same cruise line behind “Icon of the Seas,” the world’s largest cruise ship that will be setting sail very soon.

Though the Allure of the Seas doesn’t hold the title of biggest in the world, it’s by no means small. The behemoth vessel can house up to 5,000 guests and 2,000 crew members, as per Smithsonian Magazine. According to Forbes, the four-night cruise will be leaving from Miami on October 21, 2024, just a day after Swift’s final Eras Tour show. It will then be heading to the Royal Caribbean’s private Bahamas island, CocoCay, and Nassau, before returning to its Miami port of call, reports CNBC.

Swifties Unite
Unfortunately, Taylor herself won’t be at the cruise since she doesn’t have a hand in it. However, fans can nevertheless expect an inimitable experience where they can meet with fellow Swifties and participate in activities that pay homage to the beloved artist. These include a welcome cocktail party, dance parties, karaoke, Taylor trivia, friendship bracelet swapping, and nightly Eras outfit themes.

More activities are in store as the cruise’s organizers continue planning. Marvelous Mouse Travels is the agency behind the themed cruise, as well as a group of dedicated Taylor Swift fans. Prices start at $1,573 for double occupancy, which includes food and basic drinks, as per CNBC. Though there’s no particular age limit, adults at 21 or above must accompany those younger than 21 years old.
As of November 15, there are still available rooms at $1,500 to $2,100—however, the travel agency will be pulling from a waitlist for the spare spaces, reports Forbes.

“This wasn’t a business goal for them [the fan organizers],” shared Kari Dillion, the owner of Marvelous Mouse Travels, with CNBC. “They wanted to put it together for fans and enjoy it alongside them and I’m very confident that with the three of them at the helm, that’s exactly what will happen.”
