According to Fox News, the princess underwent a “planned abdominal surgery” on Jan. 17.
In her latest message, she mentioned that during her surgery, it was believed that the issue was non-cancerous.
However, post-operative tests revealed the presence of cancer.
As per People, the specific type of cancer was not disclosed in Middleton’s message. A spokesperson from Kensington Palace stated, “We will not be sharing any further private medical information. The Princess has a right to medical privacy, as we all do.”
Middleton reassured viewers, saying, “I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body, and spirit.”
She also explained that she and Prince William had been taking the time to explain her health issues to their three children.
Middleton mentioned that she would be stepping back from work to focus on her health and recovery.
Lots of people quickly sent messages of support to Middleton, including her brother-in-law Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who wished her well and a speedy recovery.
