Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe—who could ask for a better friendship trio? The castmates showed that they’ll always be there for each other.
Actor, producer, and director Courteney Cox was honored with the 2,750th star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame last Monday, February 27.
Her lifelong friends Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow helped to pay tribute to Cox’s decades-long career in a joint speech.

The three actors have known each other for almost 30 years, since they all starred in the hit ‘90s sitcom, Friends.
“To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney, and she is responsible for all of that,” Aniston said. “From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you.”
“She was the only one of the cast who was famous. We were all taking our cues from her,” Kudrow added. She also credited Cox for being the reason they were “one of the closest, most loving, and supportive casts in the history of television.”
At that time, Cox had already starred in projects such as Misfits of Science, Family Ties, Masters of the Universe, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Some of her post-Friends credits include Cougar Town, Shining Vale, and the Scream film franchise.
The two Friends co-stars ended their speech thanking Cox for the positive impact she has on their lives. They shared their pride and love for their “sister from another mister.”
Cox accepted the honor by first thanking the pair, as well as actor Laura Dern who was also in attendance. “It’s so nice that you came out and showed up for me in public the way you do so often in private,” she said.
The actor continued to show her gratitude for her long-standing relationships with many creative collaborators, her team, and her family.
In sharing a story from early in her acting career, Cox grew teary-eyed. She was two weeks from running out of money when her father suggested she return home to sell swimming pools.
“The next day I got Family Ties,” she said. “This will make me cry because I do love my dad, but I just want to say that I know he’s really proud of me, and it does look like I’m here to stay.”
