William Morris Endeavor (WME) will be helping the Duchess of Sussex with her business ventures.
In an exclusive report, Variety confirmed that Meghan Markle has signed for representation with WME.
Many other rival talent agencies have tried to land deals with the Duchess of Sussex since she moved to California in 2020 with her family.
In their official Instagram announcement, WME wrote that “The agency will be focusing on building out her business ventures across multiple facets of the agency and its broader ecosystem, including film and television production, brand partnerships and more.”
While it doesn’t seem like Markle will be returning to acting, the talent agency will also be representing Archewell, her and Prince Harry’s content creation label.
“So much of how my husband and I see things is through our love story. I think that’s what people around the world connected to, especially with our wedding. People love love. I’m not excluded in that sentiment,” Meghan said in her Variety cover story last year.
They currently have deals with Spotify, which hosts Markle’s podcast Archetypes, and Netflix, which they produced Harry & Meghan with. The docuseries had the biggest documentary debut week in the history of the streaming service with 81.5 million minutes watched in its first week.
Markle’s new representation team will be led by renowned agent Ari Emanuel and will include Brad Slater and Jill Smoller.
