Through videos posted on the TikTok account of her mom, Tonya (@middle.com), Kaia’s garments have reached millions of users.

These include fashion icon Vera Wang, who left a word of validation for the young designer.

“LOVE,” commented the official TikTok account of Wang, who added a black heart emoji, on Tonya’s post featuring Kaia’s dress inspired by Disney’s Princess Jasmine.

Another fashion designer whom Kaia caught the attention of was Project Runway star Gunnar Deatherage, who even commented that he would send the Aragon family a “care package” soon.

Kaia has wanted to be a fashion designer since she was 4, beginning to sew on-and-off at age 5.

On average, she makes one dress a day. Her process starts with pinning down her mannequin and then rolling with whatever comes to mind.

She would then model her creations straight from the hallway, which has become her very own home-based runway.

“It is interesting to see how her mind worked,” her mother told local radio station KRDO.

“I would just hand her a piece of fabric and within an hour she would have this beautifully designed piece, because I thought it was unique. I thought it was worth sharing.”

Kaia’s style and portfolio is featured on at least 15 videos on her mother’s account, which has over 500,000 followers. Tonya labels her daughter’s videos with phrases like “tiny designer,” “future fashion designer,” and “my little fashionista.”
