Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao are part of Condé Nast Traveler’s top 10 list.
Every year, Condé Nast Traveler (CNT) readers vote on the best destinations all over the world. Boracay, Palawan, and Siargao were chosen as some of the best islands in Asia this year.
Approximately 600,000 people participated in the magazine’s Readers’ Choice Awards. The results showed that Boracay received a score of 90.74, placing third overall. Bali, Indonesia and Koh Samui, Thailand took first and second place respectively.

Palawan ranked sixth with 89.71 points while Siargao rounded up the top 10 list with 87.37. All three islands have been part of the list for the past several years, often exchanging rankings.
Last year, Boracay took the top spot while Palawan ranked eighth. In 2021, Siargao was the top island in Asia, followed by Palawan in third and Boracay in eighth.
“This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and sustainable tourism efforts of our country, from our local communities, national and local government agencies, and stakeholders who have strive tirelessly to preserve and enhance the beauty of these islands,” said Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.
“The awards inspire us to continue developing and promoting the Philippines as a premier travel destination in Asia and the world. Our commitment to sustainable tourism practices has not only captivated the hearts of travelers but has also contributed significantly to the growth of our nation’s tourism industry,” she concluded.
Known for its “pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, vibrant marine life, lush landscapes, rich heritage and culture,” travelers continue to appreciate what the Philippines has to offer.
