On Chinese New Year, Makati Shangri-La will open with a Lion and Dragon Eye Dotting Ceremony and a Lion and Dragon dance ritual at 12:30 p.m. in the lobby driveway. At Shang Palace, guests can gather for a festive lunch with three set menus to choose from, ranging from PHP 36,800 to PHP 49,800 for a table of ten, available from January 19 to February 3.

Then at Circles Event Cafe, check out the sumptuous buffet featuring traditional favorites like Yee Sang, Double-Boiled Chicken Soup, Roast Duck, an array of dim sum, Braised E-Fu Noodles with Assorted Mushrooms and Vegetables in truffle Sauce, Mandarin Tiramisu and Pan-Fried Rice Cake. This Lunar New Year, Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery is highlighting authentic Cantonese dishes prepared by their culinary team headed by Executive Chef Mok Chee Wah. But first, welcome the Year of the Wood Snake at the lobby with a Lion Dance on January 29, 11:30 a.m.

At Noodle Alley, Ruby Wong’s Godown has launched an updated menu, including new dim sum selections, Braised Beef Brisket Noodles, Roasted Pork Belly Macau Style, and HK Style Roasted Crispy Pigeon. For PHP 1,488 per person, guests can also enjoy Unlimited Dim Sum at Miss Ruby’s, available until the end of March.

Indulge in the hotel’s Red Afternoon Tea held at El Atrio Lounge from January 6 to February 28. The tea set includes savory and sweet canapes that can be paired with coffee, tea, or freshly-made Tsokolate Batirol made of tablea or local cacao beans. The set price of PHP 2,988 is good for two to three people.
