It was a group of artisans from Mindanao that inspired the movement which began in 2016. Six years later, as the beautiful local crafts consistently gain more popularity, Katutubo PH continues to impact the lives of indigenous artists through economic empowerment.

What began with 11 small local brands has expanded to over a hundred partnerships, starting from curated events to a virtual platform, Katutubo PH intends to showcase local talent through products from all over the country while supporting local partner brands.
Through such efforts, Katutubo PH offers shoppers a unique experience of Philippine culture while advocating that Filipino fashion and crafts may be adapted as a way of living.
Futhermore, Katutubo PH says that they “aim to increase awareness on the beauty of our culture which hopefully will be passed on to the next generation that they should love and wear our culture with pride.”
