Under the theme “Paglikha sa Kinabukasan,” the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ flagship open house festival marks its 20th year with expanded venues, new participatory platforms, and a nationwide celebration of Philippine creativity.
“CCP Pasinaya: The Open House Festival,” the country’s flagship multi-arts festival organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), ushers in the National Arts Month with new components and an expanded roster of venue partners, marking 20 years of artistic collaboration, creativity, and public engagement.
Guided by the theme Paglikha sa Kinabukasan, CCP Pasinaya 2026 underscores the importance of engaging Filipinos—especially the youth—in shaping the future of the country’s creative landscape. By bringing the festival closer to communities nationwide, the CCP aims to encourage broader participation and inspire future generations of artists and audiences to sustain and elevate Philippine arts and culture.

Scheduled on February 7 and 8, 2026, CCP Pasinaya broadens its reach with the addition of a new regional venue in Roxas City, Capiz, alongside new Metro Manila partners including Rizal Park Luneta, Calle Wright as part of Paseo Museo, and other key cultural spaces.
“As CCP Pasinaya marks its 20th edition, the festival continues to offer new experiences even for its long-standing audiences,” shares CCP President Kaye C. Tinga in a statement.
Dennis N. Marasigan, CCP Artistic Director and Pasinaya Festival Director, adds: “By bringing the festival closer to communities across the country, we hope to provide opportunities for meaningful engagement, spark curiosity, and nurture a generation of artists and audiences who will carry forward and reimagine the future of Philippine arts and culture.”

About Pasinaya
Established in 2005, CCP Pasinaya was originally envisioned as a marketing platform to preview CCP productions and programs, as well as the performance seasons of its then-resident companies. Over time, it evolved into the official kickoff event for the National Arts Month celebration. Today, it stands as a dynamic hub for arts appreciation, education, and creative collaboration, showcasing performing arts groups and artists from nearby cities and regions whose generous participation reflects a shared commitment to nurturing and celebrating Philippine arts.

True to its spirit of inclusivity, CCP Pasinaya continues its “workshop-all-you-can, watch-all-you-can, and pay-what-you-can” approach, offering flexible ways for audiences to participate, learn, and immerse themselves in the arts. Registration will be available online through the official CCP Facebook page.
What To Expect At Pasinaya 2026
On February 7, audiences can immerse themselves in Palihan, a workshop-all-you-can experience offering hands-on exploration and learning across various art forms.
On February 8, Palabas takes center stage, featuring performances by 169 participating groups, including the National Performing Arts Companies, professional performing arts groups, and individual artists, showcasing the breadth and diversity of Philippine arts.

Throughout both days, Paseo Museo offers hop-on, hop-off curatorial tours across 17 museums and galleries in Metro Manila. Select museums will host special performances and workshops, providing visitors with immersive and interactive art experiences. A free shuttle service, in partnership with the Museum Foundation of the Philippines, will transport participants between venues. Paseo Museo also launches a guided walking tour of the CCP Complex, led by the Heritage Collective.
Professional performing arts groups and artists will take part in Palitan, a business-to-business platform designed to foster meaningful connections with Philippine embassies, arts programmers, and other key stakeholders. The initiative provides opportunities to present artistic works, explore collaborations, and expand reach locally and internationally, strengthening the presence of Philippine arts on the global stage.

Making its debut this year is Paligsahan, a dynamic new festival component featuring a wide range of activities open to the public. These include Paeksena (cosplay competition), Paramihan (TikTok video challenge), Paseo Museo Paunahan (stamp rally), Pitik-Larawan (photo contest), Sinag ng Pasinaya (a mobile 1v1 fighting game), and the Vertical Shorts Competition (short vertical films).
Adding to the festive atmosphere is Pamilihan, a vibrant marketplace where festivalgoers can enjoy food stalls, artisanal treats, and handcrafted goods in support of local vendors and entrepreneurs.

Projected to draw over 50,000 attendees, CCP Pasinaya 2026 will take place across multiple venues, including the Circuit Performing Arts Theater; Aliw Theater at the CCP Complex; Concert at the Park in Rizal Park Lunetain collaboration with the National Parks Development Committee; and the historic Metropolitan Theater in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

Longtime regional partners like the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Arts in Iloilo City and Tagum City, return this year, reaffirming their commitment to the festival’s nationwide reach. Joining them is a new regional partner in Roxas City, Capiz, further expanding CCP Pasinaya’s presence and making the arts more accessible to communities across the country.
