Manila audiences can get ready to sing, dance, and celebrate one of music’s most inspiring success stories as 9 Works Theatrical, in partnership with Rockwell, presents the Southeast Asian premiere of On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan. Running for a limited engagement from July 10 to August 2, 2026 at The Proscenium Theater in Rockwell Center, Makati City, the acclaimed musical brings to life the extraordinary journey of music icons Emilio and Gloria Estefan—from their humble beginnings to their rise as global superstars whose sound transformed pop music around the world.

What’s On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan About?
Featuring a book by Academy Award-winning writer Alexander Dinelaris, On Your Feet! traces the Estefans’ journey to fame through a story of ambition, resilience, and unwavering belief in each other. Audiences can expect an electrifying theatrical experience powered by some of Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine’s biggest hits, including crowd favorites that helped define a generation. At its heart, the musical explores the challenges and triumphs that made the Estefans’ legacy what it is today, including career obstacles, personal sacrifices, and the life-changing moments that tested their strength as a family and as artists.
On Your Feet! Presents A Powerhouse Cast
Alternating in the iconic role of Gloria Estefan are Molly Langley and Kayla Rivera, two accomplished performers bringing their own energy and artistry to the beloved music legend.
Joining them is a stellar cast of theater veterans and celebrated performers, including Ayen Laurel as Gloria Fajardo, Pinky Marquez as Consuelo Garcia, John Joven Uy as Jose Fajardo, Vien King as Young Jose Fajardo, Jani Magadia as Rebecca Fajardo, and Anyah de Guzman as Rebecca Fajardo in select performances and as Robin.
The roles of Little Gloria and Young Emilio will be alternated by child theater prodigies Reese Iso and Althea Ruedas, and Elian Santos and Manolo Villalva respectively.
Rounding out the cast are is the dynamic ensemble who will bring the vibrant energy of the streets of Little Havana and the Miami Sound Machine to life through explosive choreography and dazzling vocals: Lorenz Martinez as Chris; Meliza Reyes Uy as Sonia; Neo Rivera as Phil; Antonio Valdez as Kiki; Altair Alonzo as Marquito; Roxy Aldiosa as Belen; Rica Laguardia as Lori; Matthew Barbers as Big Paquito; Carmelle Ros as Amilia; Winchester Lopez as Soldier (and as the show’s Dance Captain); Cheska Quimno as Lucia; Richardson Yadao as Kenny; Macel Dofitas-Yadao as Andrea; Gerhard Krysstopher and Lord Kristoffer Logmao as Marcello; Jacqui Jacinto and Gianna Hervas as Rachel; and Roni Paderes as DJ.
The production is directed by Robbie Guevara, with musical direction by Daniel Bartolome and choreography by Nunoy van den Burgh, whose creative vision aims to capture the vibrant spirit, passion, and rhythm that made the Estefans cultural icons.

9 Works Theatrical Brings The Rhythm To The Proscenium Theater In Rockwell
Known for producing some of the country’s most memorable stage productions, 9 Works Theatrical teams up with Rockwell to bring this internationally acclaimed musical to Filipino audiences for the very first time. Set against a backdrop of infectious Latin rhythms, dazzling choreography, and heartfelt storytelling, On Your Feet! promises to be one of the most anticipated theater events of the year.
Performances will be held on weekends from July 10 to August 2, with shows scheduled at 8 PM every Friday and Saturday, and 3 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
