If all of you haven’t already noticed, black was the name of the game for this year’s Golden Globes, all thanks to Times Up: an initiative formed by the combined forces of Hollywood’s most powerful femme fatales in the hopes of taking aim at the industry’s sexual harassment and misogynistic culture that has become quite the norm for most.
The industry’s activists were all clad in black—a powerful contrast against the striking red carpet. Amidst the rebellion and the outcry for equality, respect, and solidarity however, the dazzling women of Hollywood did not fail to make their own personal style statements as well. After all, we wouldn’t expect anything less than top of the line glamour during one of Hollywood’s biggest nights.
