This year’s Paris Fashion Week revealed some of the most stunning looks from highly acclaimed brands for their Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
Paris Fashion Week stunned its audience from around the world with cutting edge, ready-to-wear collections. Highly-acclaimed designers unveiled their Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
The French Fashion Federation arranges the bi-annual Paris fashion event, which includes over 100 runway shows from top fashion brands.
Celebrities from all over the world went to Paris as the fashion event began from September 25 to October 3.

Chanel’s colorful warm weather collection
Chanel showed off their breezy, warm weather collection which had colorful asymmetric styles. Models graced the runway with tweed skirt sets with uneven hems, patchwork ensembles, and lightweight dresses.
The collection showed jackets, sleeves on dresses sliced open in a cape-like fashion, swimsuits worn with a cape, and more. Check out sample photos from their collection in the recent Paris Fashion Week 2023:
Christian Dior’s modern femininity collection
Christian Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri continued her interpretation of modern femininity ahead of their Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Dior’s latest creations had neutrals through lace textiles, tulles on gowns, and long black coats draped over collared white shirts.
Chiuri etched subtle graphics on blazers, topcoats, and skirts that balanced monotone underlayers. Minimalism became a central theme to a number of single-hued dresses and coats as well. Additionally, opulent sheer dresses got paired with detailed ornaments around the neck, spotlighting creative femininity on the runway.

Louis Vuitton’s sophisticated urban collection
Louis Vuitton opened their set with bomber jackets partnered with flowing skirts, as well as mannish patch work on some clothes. The brand’s creative director for women’s wear Nicolas Ghesquière paired Parisian flair with futuristic theme, his signature work
Ghesquière’s vision materialized on the runway with models flaunting urban sophistication for their Spring/Summer 2024 collection. They graced the runway with leather bomber jackets with ruffled skirts that evoke timeless elegance. The collection featured textured corsets, ethereal tones, linear graphics, all serving the art of understated grace.

Yves Saint Laurent’s artistry inspired by ‘pioneering women’
Yves Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello took the audience on a captivating journey to their Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The collection paid homage to the iconic 1967 safari jacket silhouette.
The collection took inspiration from women, particularly from Amelia Earhart and Adrienne Bolland, who slipped into “domains once considered exclusively male.” The brand showed Formula 1-style racing dresses, utility style jump suits, service jackets and cargo trousers. In addition, they also showed pleated gowns, mesh tops, and mini dresses in khaki, beige, wine, and deep blue hues.

Maison Valentino’s concept: the ‘skin as its own fabric’
Maison Valentino’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli introduced grace and femininity as he celebrated the body’s natural state through cut outs, and sheer fabrics.
Piccioli wanted to show that clothes, while meant to cover the body, are also capable of revealing as much as they can. His team came up with a technique called altorilievo or high relief, weaving fabrics in patterns and shapes hugging models’ bodies. Truly, Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection set forth demure sensuality on the runway.
