Stars looked stunning as they wore luxury artisan-crafted jewellery by John Hardy during the launch of its first U.S. flagship in New York City and its Artisan in Residence Workshop. The event It animated the creative spirit and storied craftsmanship of the brand’s Ubud workshop and showroom Bali into a full sensory experience and will be dedicated to hosting artisan master classes, workshops, talks, and installations across dynamic disciplines. To launch the Artisan in Residence, John Hardy brought its Balinese artisans half way around the globe to New York to demonstrate the brand’s signature 8-step jewellery-making process. Master artisans impressed guests by their intricate skills on jewellery design and illustration by watercolour, wax carving the designs into 3-dimensional wax molds, and weaving silver and gold into the brand’s iconic Classic Chain bracelets.
