Patricia Palanca and Samuel Young Wedding

By

Samuel Young and Patricia Palanca started as seatmates at work before dating, which Patricia says happened after she moved to a new company. The proposal happened at Antonio’s in Tagaytay. As Patricia tells it, “He was supposed to propose three months earlier during a trip to Hong Kong, but his mom advised him not to propose during ghost month.”

The wedding was held by the infinity pool of The Lind Boracay, with the reception indoors in the ballroom. The entire room was decked with flowers and rose gold table accents. An intimate destination wedding with only 260 guests, a friend commented it was “the most un-Chinese Chinese wedding she had ever attended.” Patricia was particularly struck with the camaraderie among guests, the old friendships and the new ones being made. “More than anything, that made the event extra special.”
