The founders of Joseph’s renovate the historic Laperal White House, now opening its doors to diners.
The Laperal White House is a familiar sight for anyone traveling to Baguio. Often dubbed as a “haunted house,” the historic home is now open for visitors (upon reservation).
The house, built by Roberto Laperal, has been around for almost a century. Designed in a Victorian style, the recent renovations retain its original solid wood ceilings and walls.
Inside, the home is now furnished with custom contemporary dining tables and seats, bringing a modern elegance to the historic structure.

We look forward to indulging in the restaurant’s menu, which we learned is crafted by a French chef who’s spent ten years at a Michelin-star restaurant. Guests have the options of two to five course meals, ranging from P1,500 to P3,800 per person.
There are also mains for sharing, including an Angus Rib-Eye good for three or four for P14,800++ and the 21-Day Dry-Aged Rib-Eye good for two or three, for P12,600++. Both mains come with three sides of your choice: Potato & Butter Purée, Garlic-Buttered French Beans, Buttered Fettuccine, and Roasted Rosemary Baby Potatoes. Y
A children’s menu is available for kids ages 12 and below. Choices include the Pan Seared Tenderloin served with pepper-cream sauce, Salmon Fillet, and Bacon-Wrapped Pork Loin with gravy. All are served with a choice of starch or glazed vegetables.
According to Joseph’s, “The kitchen utilizes native produce plated in harmony with premium meat and seafood selections obtained both locally and internationally to give you the best and most memorable dining experience.”
With a charming and cozy ambiance, the restaurant is able to seat up to 50 guests and is only open for one lunch and dinner service a day.
