The book tackles her distinguished looks as well, from her sky-high heels, famous wigs, and bold make-up. She reveals her most memorable outfits with glittering embellishments as well as the daring styles she dons every time.
The book follows her creation Songteller: My Life in Lyrics that hit the bestselling mark in 2020. It became a tribute to one of the most beloved musicians in history. She dedicated this as well to those who devoted love and energy towards Parton.
Behind the Seams: My Life in Rhinestones fills its readers with humor and from the title itself, lots of rhinestones. This is aside from the 450 total outfits included in the book
An exhibit accompanies Parton’s new book
Parton worked on the book with her niece, Rebecca Seaver and music journalist Holly George-Warren. It contains profiles and remembrances from Parton’s favorite designers, make-up artists, and stylists. They became the pillars of Parton’s signature look.
An exhibit at Nashville’s Lipscomb University named Dolly Parton and the Makers: My Life in Rhinestones accompanies Parton’s new book. It opens to the public on October 31 to December 9 but tickets are now on sale.
The book became available for purchase on October 17 and shall hit your favorite book shops soon.
Parton invites fans to join her down memory lane through her exciting new picture memoir.
