Dr. Aivee and Dr. Z Teo of the Aivee Group commemorated their glorious wins with friends last August 24, 2022
It’s one thing to raise our glasses to honor a simple achievement, but it’s a whole different discussion when we’re toasting to multiple wins against other prestigious names in the industry. For the Aivee Clinic’s case, it’s a total of five Merz Aesthetics® Tala Awards, including the highly-coveted 7-Star Overall Award. To celebrate this momentous occasion, they, along with their great partners from Merz Aesthetics® Ultherapy® team, brand ambassadors, VIP clients, and close friends who helped them be the powerhouse name they are today, held an intimate afternoon tea on the 24th of August at the Peninsula Manila in Makati City.

The special event hosted by Janeena Chan began with the welcoming remarks of the General Manager of Merz Aesthetics® Philippines, Jorge Libanan. During his time on stage, he mentioned that the event was “A celebration of number ones,” pertaining to the Aivee Clinic’s 7-Star Overall Award win. However, he wasn’t only talking about the grand Tala award everyone wants to attain. The Teos and their team behind the clinic also won 7-Star awards for Ultherapy® TD, Merz Hyaluronic Acid Filler, and Merz Anti-Wrinkle Treatment, as well as a 5-Star award for Ultherapy® CU. According to the Merz Aesthetics® Philippines General Manager himself, “These awards only affirm that Aivee Clinic continues to elevate the standards in the aesthetics and dermatology industry.”
A visionary couple
After all the cheers and celebratory toast, it was only right that the dynamic duo behind the Aivee Clinic’s success take the stage. Ensuring that the environment remains light and enjoyable, Dr. Aivee herself joked by thanking everyone for celebrating their anniversary. Banters aside, she gratefully said, “We’re so happy and proud that, in spite of the two years of the pandemic, we received the top award for [Ultherapy® again].”

Meanwhile, Dr. Z began to express his gratitude by saying, “It’s important for us to celebrate wins in our life, be it small or big.” He made sure to mention that even though they struggled these last couple of years, they were able to get over the difficulties the pandemic brought upon them and their clinics. This led him to give thanks to everyone in the room, especially Mr. Jorge Libanan and his team for their continuous support and trust in the Aivee Clinic.
A game-changing treatment
Dr. Aivee shared that it was in 2009 when Ultherapy® was first introduced in the Philippines, and that they were granted the honor of being the first clinic to offer it to the market. The couple also explained that they make sure they authentically show the treatment itself by publicizing how it’s done and what their patients feel during and after the session. Through this, she believes it really helped make Ultherapy® one of the most desired treatments for anti-aging and skin tightening in the Philippines. And due to its simple, non-invasive nature, Dr. Z even called it a “Lunch-time lift. Go there, do it, and [you’re] off.” He also shared his own personal experience with Ultherapy®, letting us know that he was insistent on really figuring out the best treatment that could chisel and contour his face without having to go under the knife.

While we were all there to give our heartfelt congratulations to the Aivee Clinic, everyone was also treated to a little bit of pampering as Dr. Aivee announced the launch of Aivee Skin’s Lumi Mineral Powder with SPF 44, part of a giveaway we were provided with. Not only that, but she even let us know that a private booth was set up in the venue for guests and Aivee Clinic VIPs to have Ultherapy® treatments done on site. The gold standard for non-invasive skin-lifting treatments is truly beyond compare as even the event’s world-class guests such as Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, and “Diamond Star” Maricel Soriano were all elated to be with Dr. Aivee and Dr. Z to celebrate this joyous win.
