Lyst’s quarterly ranking examines the most sought-after brands across its app and social media.
The fashion scene is ever-evolving, with brands’ creative directors coming and going and younger generations discovering their own tastes.
Every quarter, the Lyst Index ranks fashion’s hottest brands and products according to its customers’ behavior in its shopping application. Over 200 million people use the app to browse, discover, and buy items from various brands and shops.

Aside from searches within its platform, Lyst also takes statistics from social media engagement into account. Here are the hottest and most in-demand brands during the third quarter of 2023.

Miu Miu Takes The Lead
Named Brand of the Year in 2022, Miu Miu continues its rise to the top as it becomes this quarter’s number-one brand. According to the London-based shopping platform, this is the first time the brand took the top spot.
Miu Miu’s logo cashmere cardigan is this quarter’s second hottest product, seeing a 44% rise in searches. Over the past three months, the brand itself jumped three spots.

During this time, we saw its collaboration with Church’s, the launch of the Miu Miu Women’s Tales Committee which includes Miuccia Prada, Ava DuVernay, and Maggie Gyllenhaal, as well as the Summer Club event in Malibu which gathered guests such as Gigi Hadid, Zaya Wade, Halle and Chloe Bailey.
Loewe Settles Into Second
Last quarter, Loewe took the first place in the list after K-pop sensation Taeyong of NCT signed up as its newest global brand ambassador. That was also the first time the brand topped the Lyst Index.

The brand stays relevant as it released fall-winter campaigns featuring Taylor Russell, Tang Wei, and Jamie Dornan. Loewe also launched the Squeeze bag and named Chinese actress Yang Mi as its newest global ambassador.
Prada Takes Bronze
Miu Miu’s sister brand Prada placed third this quarter. Some of the brand’s highlights over the past three months include hosting the 10th edition of Prada Mode in Seoul, collaborating with flower kiosks for its FW23 campaign, and debuting the Arqué shoulder bag.

Other Highlights For Q3
In order, Bottega Veneta, Versace, Saint Laurent, Moncler, and Valentino all made it to the top 10.
French brand Jacquemus is one of the fastest risers on the hottest brands list. In just one quarter, it jumped six places and landed on ninth, its highest ranking so far. Following Jacquemus, Burberry re-entered the top 10 for the first time since the second quarter in 2022.

Lastly, Italian brand Ferragamo entered the Hottest Brands ranking for the first time in 20th place. It’s no surprise after British designer Maximilian Davis took the reins in 2022 and with celebrity endorsements from Gigi Hadid, Solange Knowles, and NCT’s Jeno.
Meanwhile, some of Lyst’s breakout brands include Tory Burch, Helmut Lang, and Poster Girl which all had searches up 10% or more this quarter.
