The exhibit’s organizers make their contribution both to typhoon-hit areas and the local art scene.
Grounded, an artist network and lifestyle brand, is holding the second part of their exhibition series in partnership with Art Fair Philippines.

“States of Cadence II” is a multisensory exhibit that will run until April 1. Its themes include timeless and infinite evolution of the human spirit, shown through connection, compassion, and engagement with the natural world.
The exhibition includes paintings, prints, tapestries, photographs, and other mixed-media works. These belong to 20 artists from the Grounded Artist Network Program, featuring French photographer Camille Robiou Du Pont.
States of Cadence II will be presented physically unlike its predecessor thanks to a collaboration with Karrera Showroom, an Alabang-based vintage car showroom and cafe.
The Grounded selection of curated works “invites the viewer to explore the intricate, labyrinthine systems and states of being, and the reparative role that art and compassion play within these systems.”
Fundraiser
Aside from events like a wellness workshop, film night, and watch showcase, the exhibit will offer a fundraiser. In fact, part of the proceeds will go to partner Oceanus Conservation for Siargao Island schools.
“We have a number of artists that were based in Siargao. And the devastation really hit close to home. Our featured artist for States of Cadence at AFP, Camille Robiou du Pont, took these eerily beautiful photos of the destruction of Typhoon Odette. Which is the centerfold and inspiration of the fundraiser that will be exhibited at the fair,” founder Marika Manglapus-Ledesma said.
