With filming complete and new faces joining the cast, the second season of Off Campus is taking shape ahead of its return.
The hockey romance your group chat has been obsessing over since May reached the end of its scheduled Season 2 shoot, which puts Prime Video’s Off Campus on the path back to your screen. Fans who tore through the first eight episodes have spent the summer piecing together clues from set videos and casting announcements, and those clues now add up to a fairly detailed picture.
Season 1 premiered May 13 and drew 36 million viewers in its first 12 days, making it the third most-watched debut season in Prime Video history. The streaming service had renewed it in February, and the numbers have made that gamble look smart.

Allie And Dean Take Center Stage
The new season hands the spotlight to Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) and Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn), whose story comes from Elle Kennedy’s third book in the Briar U series, The Score. Their casual arrangement blew apart in the Season 1 finale after Allie revealed that she also hooked up with Dean’s hockey rival, Hunter (Charlie Evans), which leaves the pair with plenty to sort out.
Showrunner Louisa Levy has said all eight scripts are finished, and promised that Hannah (Ella Bright) and Garrett (Belmont Cameli) will stay in the ensemble for anyone who can’t let them go.
Newcomers include Shay Rudolph as Dean’s sister, Summer; and India Fowler as Grace Ivers, a sociology major freshman trying to find her place at Briar U. Phillipa Soo of Hamilton fame joins as Scarlett, a theater artist guest directing an original play in the drama department, which should put her squarely in aspiring actress Allie’s orbit. However, Josh Heuston will not return as Justin Kohl.
Filming Returns To Briar U
Antonio Cipriano, who plays John Logan, is giving fans plenty to speculate about as well. A TikTok making the rounds shows him sprinting across campus in a suit à la The Graduate (1967). A man in formalwear running toward something rarely signals a minor plot point. Grace’s arrival suggests the two will commence their romance this season. However, their full love story, adapted from the second book, The Mistake, is reportedly being saved for a possible third season.
Cameras started rolling June 1 in Vancouver, with North Shore Studios as a base and the University of British Columbia playing Briar once again. Bright and Cameli posted a TikTok from the set on September 7 to say they were back filming and that the wait would be worth it, the shoot was scheduled to finish September 18.
When Will Off Campus Season 2 Premiere?
Prime Video hasn’t announced a premiere date. Season 1 filmed from June to October 2025 and arrived the following May, so the widely repeated guess for Season 2 is April or May 2027.
