The sun shined over Santa Elena Golf & Country Club for the 12th Annual Mercedes Trophy hosted by Auto Nation Group, Inc. Considered one of the biggest invitational golf events of the year, loyal patrons who are also golf enthusiasts played on the greens from morning to afternoon for a friendly game of nine holes. Adones Baluyut, Edward Salvador, Christopher James Tan and Tiffany Copok where victorious in their respective classes, and were given the opportunity to represent the Philippines at the Asian Final in Australia this coming August. As the cocktails were served and the sun was kinder, tired but contented members of the Mercedes Trophy gathered on the fairways to give a charitable donation to the Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, a non-profit organization that awards financial support to patients at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center.
